Started by Dr. Orpha Speicher in 1938, in response to needs she saw in the region, we have a rich heritage and been serving the community in and around WASHIM. RMH is blessed with a beautiful campus and patients from WASHIM, Akola, Amravati, Hingoli, Yavatmal frequented the hospital, mostly for maternity services. RMH is always known for good quality care at reasonable costs. We aim to provide its services to the needy with an ethical, affordable, compassionate health care and make it accessible in an effective manner in this region.

The presence of Nazarene Nurses’ Training College, a sister organization is an asset to the region as we have qualified and experienced faculty to teach and mentor young nurses. The students are equipped with quality education to enable them to contribute back to the society, through their nursing careers.

We are a small and dedicated team of staff who are passionate about revival and restoration of the hospital and more importantly, the investment into the lives of the people we work with.
Along with our partners - The Church of Nazarene, Christian Medical College, Vellore and Emmanuel Hospital Association, RMH community intends to continue to witness the love of Christ through the work we do and also be good stewards of the resources entrusted to it.

RMH & AC is also a local collaborating for UMMID initiative (Unique Methods of Management and treatment of Inherited Disorder), which is funded by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and implemented by CMC Vellore. This unique project focuses on aspirational district WASHIM for screening for sickle cell anaemia, beta Thalassemia and inherited genetic disorders.
